Chef Alejandro Saravia is well known for introducing Peruvian cuisine to Australia’s food culture, as well as being a passionate ambassador for the regional produce of Victoria. Alejandro’s authentic food is combined with a wealth of experience gained through cooking in world-class kitchens across the globe. From culinary school in Peru, followed by a traineeship in New York to stints in Barcelona, Paris, London and Sydney – the coveted chef has worked with some of the best.

Here in Melbourne, Alejandro’s Farmer’s Daughters has created a cultural and gastronomic embassy in the CBD which showcases the diversity of the Gippsland region in a true farm-to-table experience. Alejandro has explored the breadth of Victoria, spending time with farmers, growers, producers and makers absorbing their passion and knowledge. Alejandro’s culinary philosophy is one of fresh seasonal produce that is inspired by Victoria and tells the stories of its seasons, people and produce.  He is also an official food and beverage ambassador for Gippsland Victoria.
