Lisa Asher
Lisa is the GM of Future Farm in the Pacific – a company on a mission to change the way people eat, by choosing to eat more meat from plants. Lisa is an emerging advocate for sustainable eating, with her meat-eating family, now meat reducers. Formerly a meat industry veteran, the birth of her son, and the bushfires in 2019/2020 had a profound impact on her career choice. Realizing the extreme weather events from global warming was a harsh reality her son would have to live with, she wanted to do her part to help reverse our gluttony over the past century of inefficient protein production and consumption from animals. Future Farm™ is a company that delivers on taste and texture of real meat, while trying to compete head on with price. Now an emerging advocate for sustainable eating, as a meat eater, she’s on a mission to help people see they can still enjoy meat and start eating for a more sustainable future. By just swapping a meal or two a week to plant based, can dramatically help us reduce our carbon footprint and protect our planet for future generations.
Lisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration in Marketing and is currently undertaking a Master of Philosophy at Sydney University part-time which seeks to champion consumer choice in store brand and category management.
In her spare time, she is a proud wife and Mum to a toddler and supports her local community businesses and network to build a brighter future.
